I made these buttons on a string for my little friend and her best friend. They have been perfect entertainment in the pram while walking around town.
This is a sensory toy as the buttons make a fantastic clicking sound when shaken, and are great for exploring with their mouth and hands. I also love that I can teach my friend about shapes and colours.
I cut the string very short, so that my friend would not wrap it around her neck.
I bought the buttons here and the shoelaces from here.
I cut the string very short, so that my friend would not wrap it around her neck. I also tied the knot very securely, as the buttons are a choking hazard.
