This activity involves threading pasta onto straws that have been stuck into play dough. This is quite a detailed task for the little ones, therefore it can be quite challenging to begin with. But with lots of practise and patience, and tongue possible sticking out because they are concentrating so hard, they will master the threading.

Pasta threading activity
Ingredients
- Play dough
- Plastic straws
- Pasta (penne)
Instructions
1
Flatten out the play dough onto a table, and then stick in the straws.

Put the pasta next to the play dough, and then demonstrate to your child how you thread the pasta onto the straw.
