I made these smelling bottles as an introduction to smell for my little friends. Smell can trigger happy memories and emotions! Coffee and fresh bread! Right?
I used saltshakers, cotton balls and essence to create this experience. I let my friends hold the shalt shaker and smell it and then I told them the name of the smell. Then we moved onto the next one.
Smell is part of the 5 senses children use to explore the world around them.
