Have you ever wanted to make pom pom’s? Here is how I make them! I use cardboard but I know you can also make them by using a fork and I will try that one day.
I used to make these when I was little and as I’m writing this I wonder whom tough me? It must have been my mum? Or maybe my sister? I just remember making loads and loads of these!
Trace two circles onto two pieces of cardboard, followed by two smaller circles inside. With the scissors cut out each circle. Place the two rings together and start wrapping the yarn around the cardboard. Change the colour if you wish. Warp until the cardboard ring is full. Slip the scissors in-between the rings and cut the yarn (On the picture I'm cutting more on the side, and that is only because my scissors were not very sharp!). Tread a piece off yarn through the middle of the two cardboard and tie a knot or two. Cut the edge and take the cardboard away. Trim the edges of the pom pom with scissors if they are uneven.
