How to make homemade mod podge

Mud podge is a glue, sealant and varnish all rolled into one. It is used in a variety of art and craft projects and comes in different textures like mat, gloss and sparkle.

You can buy it from an art and craft stores but you can also make it at home. I decided to do that, since I have a few projects in the pipeline that require mud podge. So when you make the projects you have a choice to buy it in a store or make it yourself. I was also thinking that my friends and family in Iceland might not have access to the product there. They will be able to buy glue and varnish! It´s cheaper too!

The website I got this recipe from advices people to spray their project with acrylic sealant after the mod podge has dried.

I got this mod podge recipe from here.
