Washi tape threading heart

I’m a little obsessed with washi tape at the moment. I love making art projects with it. I actually made this with a friend last year, and this year I’m going to let my current friend do the stick part of the project. He is not quite old enough for the threading yet.

This is a great project for fine motor skills.

Washi tape threading heart

Ingredients

Cardboard or thick paper

Scissors

Washi tape

Hole puncher

String

Instructions

Cut a heart out of the cardboard.

Then you stick washi tape on the heart.

Punch holes around the heart.

Staring from the top, thread the string around the heart. When you get to the end, make a loop so that the heart can be hung up.
