Shower painting

What if I told you that you could let your child do painting and then clean up the mess themselves? Here is how you do it. Have them paint in the shower! Good idea or great idea? No, fantastic idea. If your are lucky you will get a master piece at the end. Look at the picture below!

I lay paper down on the floor, and then I give my little friend the paint and the paintbrushes and he can basically paint anywhere he wants. Then when he is done I remove the paper and give him a bowl with soapy water and a sponge and ask him kindly to clean the paint. You might have to help a little, then it’s time to put the shower on and rise the paint and wash any paint that might have “accidentally” been painted on his body.

  • Paper
  • Tape
  • Paint
  • Bowls
  • Paint brushes
  • Shower
  • Sponge
  • Bowl
  • water
  • Gentle soap

Instructions

Lay the paper in the shower and you can even hang some up.

Poor the paint into bowls, and place in the shower along with the paintbrushes.

Undress your child and let them sit in the shower and paint.

When they are done take all the paper out. There will definitely be a beautiful picture there that you can reserve for their art folder/box or be framed.

Then give them a bowl with soapy water and a sponge and ask them kindly to wash the shower.

Then, you turn on the shower and give them good wash. No doubt there will be paint on their body.
