This project is essentially a fine motor skills activity but you can also make it into an art project as you can let your child paint the box first. I protected the box with mud podge, which is a sealer and varnish rolled into one. You can buy it but you can also make it and here is my version.
You can let your child paint the box! Very CAREFULLY cut holes into the box (the holes have to be the same size as your lollipop sticks. Show your children how to stick the lollipop sticks into the holes and then let them have a go. Cardboard box and lollipop sticks
