My little friend and I made these flowers for his mum I think two years ago. They must have been for Easter because they are yellow and there is a chick in them.
I think they are very cute and they do last longer than fresh flowers.
You start by cutting the egg carton into flowers. Then paint the flowers (I choose yellow as mine were for Easter). Let them dry. Then cut a small whole at the bottom of the flower and tread the pipe cleaner through. I did bend it a little to hold it in place and then I put glue underneath the button and pulled it down so they sit inside the flower. Egg carton flowers
