I found these cute wooden bobbins at Edinburgh Fabrics, while shopping with my sister. I knew right away what I was going to do with them.
A baby rattle!
I changed the string 3 times. The first two looked really good but would not have been nice for the baby. So, I ended up with this colourful string. Please check regularly if the double knot is secure.
I’m planning to send this rattle to my great nephew. I sent him a bottle cap rattle and he really loved that one so I’m hoping he will like this one too.
