Rolling pin and rubber band printing

This rolling pin and rubber band printing is the last in this series of printing activities this week. The rubber bands leave a very interesting stripped marks on the paper and I can imagine that kids will really like that. I don’t know why I choose red and green paint? It’s very Christmasy. LOL.

Your child needs to be supervised during this activity since there are rubber bands on the rolling pin.

Ingredients

• Rolling pin
• Rubber bands
• Paper
• Paint
• Paint tray or paper plate

Instructions

Place the rubber bands onto the rolling pin.

Poor paint onto to the pain tray.

Then show your child how to roll the rolling pin into the paint and onto the paper.
