Here is a fun Valentines threading activity for you. It’s fun to do and is great for practising fine motor skills and bi-lateral coordination. Now I’ve said fun twice. I guess I’m tired today. I can’t even be bothered to fix it.

I think this will look great as a window display for Valentines day? What do you think?

Cardboard heart threading

Ingredients

• Cardboard
• Scissors
• Hole puncher
• Yarn

Instructions

Cut out a hearts from the cardboard.

Punch holes around the edge of the heart.

Then show your child how to thread the yarn through the holes. It helps to put tape on the end of the yarn.
