Button turtle

How cute is this button turtle? Holey money! I’m in love. When I visited Borneo 12 years ago I got to see a turtle lay eggs and little baby turtles being set free into the ocean. Wow, it was such a magical moment. I wonder where the pictures are? I will go and look?!

This is a great craft activity but you can also teach your child about turtles while doing it. They lay eggs, spend most of their lives in water and they can get very old. I got all my info from here.

I also would like to mention that I found this activity on the fireflies and mud pies website. You will find the printout on there. And while you are there have a look around. It’s a wonderful blog.
