The next few posts will be about playing with things you can find in your house. It’s to show you that children often prefer everyday things to play with as supposed to toys. Also, I was thinking about the families that are on a budget. I want them to know that there are ways to play and educate their children without having to buy expensive toys.
I brought these bowls and spoons to play with my little friend. I originally wanted it to be a color matching game but it ended up being so much more. We used them as musical instruments by using the spoons to bang on the bowls and sing a song. It does not take much for me to burst into song. Yes, I’m one of those annoying people. Now I’m singing if you are happy and you know it in my head. Help. Then we built towers with the bowls. That was fun! And lastly, we playing house by cooking food (porridge my case of course).
I just want to mention a little safety note. Don’t let your child walk or run around with the spoons in their mouth in case they fall.
