Circle printing

I wanted to introduce my little friend to shapes and decided a circle would be a  good start.  We used the circle from his shape sorter, which is perfect as it’s easy to hold for little fingers. During the activity we also discussed the colours.

To extend this activity I pointed out circles around us such as wheels, and when we saw circles in books I pointed it out to him and  I used his finger to trace around it.

I had my little friend print circles on a card for his grandmother’s birthday. I turned out really lovely and she loved it.
