Smear the rainbow

I found this activity on Tiktok by @josielewisart. You should check her out! She is pretty amazing.

Putting the dots on the canvas takes 3x as long as smearing it around. LOL. But both are very satisfying. I was a little bit nervous about smearing it. Well, I guess I was both nervous and excited on how it would turn out.

If you use a canvas this could be a fantastic gift for a family member. I buy my canvases from the works and you can get 6 small ones for £2. That is a bargain!

Ingredients

Canvas or paper

Paint

Paint knife/spatula (you can use a spoon too)

Instructions

Pour dots of paint onto your canvas or paper.

Then show your child how to spread the paint with the painting knife (or a spatula/spoon.
