Painting with bubbles

I’m been trying a lot of new ways to paint lately and this activity is in that category. And I know I’ve said this before but this is now my favourite way of paining. The pattern came out so beautiful! I’m going to do this with my friends this summer and make cards that we can send to family and friends.

Painting with bubbles

Ingredients

  • Small plastic containers such as a glass or a bowl
  • Different colored paint
  • Liquid dish soap
  • Water
  • Straws
  • A push pin
  • Small pieces of cardboard paper

Instructions

1

Squirt paint and dish soap into the container and then cover with water.

2

Poke a hole at the top of the straw with the push pin (It will be harder for your child to suck up the paint/soap mix through the straw).

3

Let your child blow into the mix with the straw to make bubbles.

4

Then show them how you can put the paper on top to make a bubble impression.

Notes

If the paint comes out weak then add more paint into the mix. Not enough bubbles? Add more dish soap.

You don’t want mess when you paint? There is a mess free feet painting!
