
This is a fun activity to do before Christmas. The pinecone turns out to be a very pretty Christmas tree and all parents or grandparents would be proud to display it in their home over the holidays.
Its great practice for fine motor skills and bi-lateral coordination (using both hands for a task).
Yarn wrapped pinecone Christmas tree
Ingredients
- Pinecones
- Green paint
- Paint brush
- Paint tray
- Various colours of yarn
- Scissors
Instructions

1. Paint the pinecone green and then allow to dry.

2. Then wrap yarn around it (I used small strings instead of a long one).
